The Basilica de San Martin de Tours | Taal Basilica

Last month my girlfriend and I went to Taal Church to do some video recording for her project in Tourism, and from SM Pala-Pala (or SM Dasma), Cavite we took a van going to Taal, Batangas for 150 pesos per head. On the road we were both quiet, and that was very unnatural for the both of us.
Then what makes us to be quiet? an "air conditioner". That damn air conditioner is pointing
at our heads and we both doesn't like that, because it makes us feel sick. Its kinda funny, because for some reasons we cannot adjust its louvers. and because we cannot do anything to move that thing, we bot just decided to sleep.
When i woke up i saw a sign that says "Welcome to Calaca", so i get my phone to look at the Google Map, luckily while i was looking at the map the drivers says "Xentro Mall! di kame dumederetso ng bayan kakaliwa na kame yung mga bababa riyan." so I woke her up, and tell the driver "Para na po".
then we stop at Xentro Mall. from there we took a trycicle to Taal Basilica for 50 pesos. and it was just a minute of a ride to get to the church.
It is said that Taal Basilica was the Largest Catholic Church in the Asia, with the length of 95 meters and width of 45 meters. Taal church was originally build on the year 1575, but it was destroyed together with Taal Town, when the Taal Volcano erupted in the year 1754, because of that, they transfer both Taal Church and Town farther away from the volcano and is now on its present site overlooking the Balayan bay and Taal Town.

After we took some photos, videos and selfies we decide to go inside the church.

Unfortunately the interior of the church was currently undergoing to a renovation. though I am just only a graphic designer, I can tell that it did not affect the fascinating architectural design of the church.

Which makes me to tell her the words "Dito kita Pakakasalan" ("This is the place were I will marry you").

After we finished the video, we decided to eat first before going back home, so we rode a trycicle for 10 pesos per head to the nearest fastfood chain. then after that we decided to go home.

From there, we took a trycicle, we told the driver to bring us to the van terminal going to SM pala-pala, while on the way, I saw a bus terminal going to cubao.

when we arrive we figured out that we still need to wait more time. because there were only a few passengers, and all the seats needs to be occupied first before the van will dispatch. and after waiting for almost an hour, we finally going home..
